As Steve Silver’s wife and handpicked successor for Beach Blanket Babylon, Jo has kept his creative vision alive since his death in 1995. She continues Steve’s dedication to charitable involvement through numerous philanthropic endeavors. Jo created the annual Steve Silver Foundation & Beach Blanket Babylon “Scholarship for the Arts” benefiting Bay Area high school seniors. Under Jo’s leadership, Beach Blanket Babylon was presented at the BOC Covent Garden Music Festival in London, England. She proudly welcomed Prince Charles and Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall, as part of their first official royal tour of the United States. The genius of Steve Silver’s show lives on under Jo’s guidance as his legacy continues.
